Scheduled backups provide a recovery route if an update, hosting fault or user error causes a problem.

Defined Response Times

Each plan sets a clear target for acknowledging and beginning assessment of a reported problem.

Performance Checks

We watch for slowdowns caused by plugins, database growth, media files and hosting configuration.

Working Time Included

Standard and Priority reserve time for content, layout and development changes each month.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does WordPress maintenance cost?
WebElev8 maintenance plans start at £95 per month. Standard and Priority include one and three hours of content or development work each month. Work outside a plan is £75 per hour. We assess an existing website before confirming the right plan.
Can you maintain a WordPress website you did not build?
Yes. We begin with a technical review of the WordPress installation, hosting, theme, plugins, backups and known faults. Problems that existed before the plan started may need separate remedial work, which we quote before proceeding.
How long does it take to repair a crashed WordPress website?
We begin diagnosis within the response target attached to your plan. A plugin, theme or PHP conflict may be resolved within a few hours, while malware, database damage or hosting faults can take longer. Response time means the time to acknowledge and assess the problem, not a guaranteed resolution time.
Are backups included?
All plans include scheduled backups. We also take a restore point before higher-risk updates where the hosting setup allows it. Backup frequency and retention can vary by host, so we confirm both during onboarding.
Do you maintain WooCommerce websites?
Yes. WooCommerce sites normally need a Standard or Priority plan because payment, checkout, shipping and plugin updates require more testing. Bulk product entry, catalogue restructuring and new shop features use included working time or are quoted separately.
What happens to unused support time?
Included time is reserved for that month and does not roll over. Larger changes are scoped and quoted before work begins, so maintenance time is not consumed without your agreement.
