What is the difference between UI and UX design?
UX (User Experience) design focuses on the overall journey and how a product feels to use — navigation, flow, and solving user problems. UI (User Interface) design focuses on the visual layer — colours, typography, components, and aesthetics. Effective digital products require both working in harmony, which is exactly how we approach every project.
What tools do you use for UI/UX design?
Our primary design tool is Figma, which enables real-time collaboration, prototyping, and design system management. We also use Maze and Lookback for user testing, and Miro for collaborative workshops and information architecture.
Do I need user research before starting design?
We strongly recommend it. Designing without understanding your users is guesswork. Even a small amount of upfront research prevents costly redesigns later. We offer both standalone research and research-integrated design packages.
Can you redesign an existing product rather than start from scratch?
Absolutely. We regularly conduct UX audits on existing products, identifying friction points and opportunities for improvement. We then redesign specific flows or the entire product depending on the scope of issues identified.
Will the designs be handed over to my development team or will you build them?
We can do either. Some clients take our Figma files to their own developers, while others use our development services to build out the designs. Either way, our design handoff includes all the assets, specs, and documentation needed for a smooth build.
